Jin Xuan Baozhong

The surprisingly distinct taste of green melon and grapes recommends this Baozhong to those who enjoy aromatic teas in the fruity rather than floral direction. A twisted oolong that undergoes multiple shakings and roastings to stop oxidation, the process has developed to produce one of the greenest oolongs around, and this one, made with the Jin Xuan cultivar, is a particularly bright example. The crisp infusion washes over the palate with just a hint of gingery spice, leaving the majority of the experience in the cooling and fruity aftertaste. An immaculately refreshing tea.

For best results in gongfu cha, brew in the traditional gaiwan or in a Yixing teapot. Too high water temperature would burn the leaves, resulting in bitter taste.
