Palest, almost glowing cerulean, this porcelain teapot sports a doubly swelling form, evoking the ethereal heights of cumulous clouds on a clear day—but it threatens no inclement weather pouring down, but rather very clement tea into waiting cup. In addition to suggesting the sky, the upper swell creates a chamber into which volatile aromas can gather, inviting a sniff as or after the infusion steeps. A product of the Jingdezhen-based Ling Yin Ping, whose cumulous work we've sourced before, it matches the similarly nebulous Heaven Cup, with both available together as a set of one teapot and two cups.
