Qing Xin Da Mo Hong Cha

This Qing Xin Da Mo, also known as Qing Xin Da Pan in other dialects, offers a warm and woody profile, with a full body and malty undertones that create a smooth, comforting experience. Fruity notes unfold with hints of red berries and cherry, balanced by a subtle astringency that brings liveliness to each sip.

As the tea cools, light citrus nuances emerge, accompanied by delicate rhubarb notes for a tangy, refreshing finish. Slightly reminiscent of Red Ruby, available in our Black Tea Collection, this tea from Pinglin combines superior taste with a fair price, making it an excellent choice for those looking for affordable yet high quality teas.

Preparation

IN THE TEAPOT
  • Quantity: 6g / 500ml
  • Water temperature: 90°C
  • Infusion time: 5 min
GONGFU CHA METHOD
  • Quantity: 3g / 100ml
  • Water temperature: 90°C
  • 4 infusions: 45, 60, 60, 90 sec

For best results in gongfu cha, brew in the traditional gaiwan or in a Yixing teapot. Too high water temperature would burn the leaves, resulting in bitter taste.
