Pu'er Stand

Far from being a platter to display any baked goods, this cake stand is a simple hinged corner to support the round pu’er cakes, or bing cha, steamed tea leaves pressed together for storage and ageing. If you have a bing cha, particularly one with an attractive wrapper, what better way to keep it in a place of honour, waiting for the right time to be broken into?
